This year marks an important milestone for us at LAB Manufacturing – 40 years as an industry leader in Hot Air Lance technology. 

Since 1986, we’ve been focused on one thing: building safer, more effective tools that help pavement professionals do their jobs better.

Our Mission

When we first introduced our flame-free Hot Air Lance, the goal was simple. We wanted to offer a better way to prepare cracks for sealing – one that eliminated open flames, reduced risk on the jobsite, and delivered more consistent results. Over the years, that commitment to innovation has helped shape how crack sealing is done across the industry.

For four decades, our Hot Air Lances have been trusted on projects of all sizes and in all kinds of conditions. We design our equipment to perform in the real world – where morning dew, recent rainfall, cooler temperatures, and tight schedules are part of the job. That’s why every lance we build is precision-engineered, hand-assembled, and tested before it leaves our facility.
